The salad cucumber Fatum is a giant peeled cucumber that enjoys great popularity due to its impressive size – the cucumbers can grow up to 40 cm long and 10 to 12 cm thick. The green-skinned pulp is completely free of bitter substances and only minimally penetrated by a small core housing, which makes the fatum cucumber extremely appetizing. The cucumber seeds can be sown directly into a loose, humous and nutrient-rich soil from May or June. A place that is sunny to semi-shaded is best suited for good growth. From July to September, you can harvest and enjoy the impressive cucumbers continuously. Regular fertilisation of the plants during the growth phase can significantly increase yields. In addition, the lap strength of the Fatum cucumber ensures a reliable and stable harvest. Giant cucumber: The salad cucumber ‘Fatum’ is a giant peeled cucumber, which is very popular due to its large fruits – up to 40 cm long and 10 to 12 cm thick the green-skinned cucumbers are very popular.
